To whom it may concern,
Industrial Decorating Solutions (IDS) remains focused on the health and safety of our employees, our business partners, and our customers. Our priority and commitment to the protection of the workplace during this period continues without pause. Within our factories, we follow the guidance of the CDC, local authorities, and ITW Corporate. We are sincerely committed to keeping our employees and customers visiting our facilities safe.
We continue to monitor and evaluate our global suppliers on an ongoing basis and will communicate any disruption that may affect our customers’ operations. To this point, we are proud to have managed our global supply situation without disruption through the pandemic period. That being said, IDS continues to see extended lead-times and inbound freight issues from overseas. We will continue to monitor our suppliers very closely as this situation continues to evolve.
In addition, IDS has been communicating with key suppliers in the United States and throughout the world, to better understand their secondary supply chains. Currently, we continue to work with principle and second-tier suppliers that have potential to impact our ability to continue the uninterrupted supply of products to our customers. To date we have been able to react quickly by incorporating secondary sources of supply. As a precaution, we have increased our orders and inventory of those items most likely to be affected should this current supply chain situation worsen.
We will continue to watch this situation if/as it evolves and will continue to map-out and consider alternatives to our existing supply chains in a proactive manner. IDS is committed to reducing any negative impact from the current Covid-19 supply chain interruptions while communicating affects in a timely manner as warranted.
Thank you for your continued partnership and support.
